Low resistance meters

Small resistance meters are devices for measuring resistance with a resolution of 1 µΩ.

Dostępne w wersjach analogowych jak i cyfrowych mikroomomierze (zwane także miernikami DLRO – Digital Low Resistance Ohmmeters lub MMR – krajowe oznaczenie wspólne dla wersji analogowych i cyfrowych) znajdują zastosowanie w pomiarach:

contact resistance of relays and switches,
resistance of wires and cables,
continuity of skeleton joints of aircraft fuselages, railway rails, pipelines,
quality of welds
oraz wielu innych.

Small resistance meters, in many cases requiring very high precision measurement, measure resistance with a current in the range of 0.5 mA to 600 A.
