RLC meters

RLC meters are devices used to assess the performance of components RLC, both over a wide range of frequencies (from 20 Hz to 300 kHz / 500 kHz / 1 MHz / 2 MHz) and test signal levels (from 0.1 mVrms to 2 Vrms, and from 50 uA to 20 mArms).

RLC meters are used in the measurement of passive electronic components:

• R resistors,
• L coils, chokes,
• C capacitors,

And discrete semiconductor components:

• semiconductor diodes (rectifier, zener, switching, led),
• pnp and npn bipolar transistors,
• n- and p-channel MOSFETs,
• triacs.
