Calibration of electrical meters
The proper functioning of electrical installation testers plays a key role in detecting any irregularities and controlling electrical safety.
Their verification should take place according to the calibration interval indicated by the manufacturer, normally at least once a year.
Large measurement ranges, including:
- low resistances in the ranges from 100mΩ to 10kΩ
- high resistances in the range from 10kΩ to 100GΩ
- continuity resistances of protective and equipotential bonding conductors in the range of 25mΩ to 1.8kΩ
- line impedances, short-circuit loops in the range from 25mΩ to 1.8kΩ
- RCD parameters
- tripping currents from 3mA to 3000mA with simulation of all types of circuit breakers
- tripping times from 10ms to 5000ms with simulation of all types of circuit breakers
- AC/DC voltages from 3 to 10kV
- clamp meters in the range from 1 to 1000A AC/DC for 50Hz and 400Hz
Certificate of conformity with EN 61557-1 to 10
Testing of the above devices takes place at the Merazet S.A. laboratory in accordance with the latest edition of the PN-EN 61557-1 to 10 standard and ends with the issue of a certificate of conformity of the device with this standard.
Photovoltaic system measuring instruments
Calibration of additional functions for multimeters with measurement of FV installation parameters includes:
- simulation of the voltage at the input of the irradiance sensor (simulation of the irradiance reference panel)
- calibration of the photovoltaic panel temperature probe
